The concept approach created for the Gucci pop-up is based on the bronze texture and the feeling it provokes for people. Many emotions can be extracted from the bronze; some say it’s pretty cold and yet warm feeling into it. By placing polished bronze plates, design functions intersect the pop-up store space, initiating a dialogue between the past and the future, creating a new space in history that is both yet to happen and already has. A place that it’s mirrored and has a perfect balance in each area.
Creating a contemporary space in the way geometry is freely expressed and the robust, minimalist simplicity of the shapes. There is even a humorous hint of what one could call vintage futurism, using screens showing Gucci’s newest campaign traverses Stanley Kubrick’s most enduring scenes.
